Holding down blackberry key doesn't bring up the running apps... very odd behavior if blackberry wants 9900 users to make the switch.

Not odd behavior!!! Swiping up and pressing end both bring up the list of running apps!!!! Why would there be a quick switch function. It's already quick switch but better.

Why do some bbosers insist on being so tunnel visioned

I'm sorry, I am the first to complain if a great feature from legacy devices is left out, but really, do we need it to be EXACTLY like the legacy interface? Things are different, you just need to get used to the other way to see the active apps.

I agree its faster to swipe up, but have you watched a legacy user try to make the switch?

Holding down the blackberry key does nothing on the classic, why not make it do SOMETHING?

Swipe up suxx. I use the hangup-button to get in the open apps view.
    Works fantastic.

This. If you are navigating with trackpad and belt, having to swipe and touch becomes an annoyance.

I think a BBOS user, who has never touched BB10, will quickly get used to being able to see the open apps MUCH quicker by simply swiping or holding the end key, and won't miss the much longer process of holding the menu key.

I think the main things the BBOS hold outs needed were the shortcuts, and major keys with their major functions. (speaking as one).

Long press Menu key for HUB in the last page you left it on would be nice.

Can you assign shortcuts to the Menu key?

    From a Z30

I dont think so. But good news is you have 40 other keys to assign shortcuts to.

There's plenty of things that COULD be done with long press of the menu key on the home screen...it's just about finding the right one

Long pressing the menu key in an app shows the top swipe menu.
