[CrackBerry Question]

I tried running the Bb app to troubleshoot problems, and all it says is that neither the camera nor the flashlight work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The camera did work fine for about 6 weeks after I switched from my beloved but elderly Curve to the Classic. Thanks! Allison

Reboot the device.

[INFO]Hold the top buttom till you get a red LED followed by the BlackBerry logo. Ignore all turn off/reboot prompts.[/INFO]

If that doesn't work, you may have a hardware issue.

Try a softboot also (hold both the volume buttons, ignore the 'screenshot' message till your phone turns off).
If that doesn't work then connect your phone to a Mac or PC and reload the OS.
If that also doesn't work then your Classic may have a hardware problem.

I can provide you with a reason: Sometimes another app may be using it for example trying to access the camera when flashlight is turned on.

Ok this problem happened on my z3 and I claimed for warranty immediately.
I think this is a os issue which can be solved by autoloader but BlackBerry care say that I have a hardware issue and they give me a replacement .
