Just got my BlackBerry Classic last week. Still test-driving this new puppy, and getting used to differences between it and by Torch 9810.

One seemingly trivial concern.... I can't find a way to turn on my LED so that it flashes periodically (unless, of course, I have messages & such). I just can't find that option, or they removed that option? If the latter, has anyone gotten around that with an app (& if so, which one)?

    Thanx in advance!

^ ^ ^ at least it is not built in as an option - as far as with some app, I do not know as I never looked into it. I prefer to only have my phone blinking when I have a message.

BeBuzz Pro works flawlessly - I use it to show when I have messages, mobile network connectivity, emails...It has an enormous range of patterns and colors and it's in the Playstore

I'll second BeBuzz. I have my personal Gmail flash green, three different work emails flash blue, missed calls flash red, voicemails flash disco and texts flash yellow. Alerts are white and calendar notifications magenta.

I can tell from across a room whether anything requires my immediate attention or not.

The app is extremely user-customizable and has always been stable.

I use the stock settings. Yellow for text messages, blue for FB, green for iGrannPro, and red for everything else.

He means he wants the led flashing even when there are no new messages, in case you didn't pick up on that

    Thanx, all!

Yes, I like it to flash all the time. Let's me know where I set it down in a dark room (haha!). Off to grab BeBuzz....

With the Bold the LED blinked green when a network connection was present. BB10 doesn't do that natively, that's why a third party app is required.
