    I haven't use my phone in over a month and I have forgotten my password. Right now I am stuck at "blackberry" 6/10 incorrect password tries. Any help would be appreciated..

    We can't help you remember your password, unfortunately. There's no way to bypass it, unless you have a lot of money and time to waste. You'll have to wipe your phone to be able to use it again.

    If you have backup your phone, it's okay to wipe it. But if you don't.. say goodbye to your data, apps, file

    how can he wipe it guys? because when you plug it in the bb link always asks for the password for you to use the device and also when you try to use an autoloader it still asks for a password if your device has one.

    Yes try 10 times and it will wipe the password

    Back again. Right now phone is stuck at 6/10 times. I don't have it linked to my mac (too old) I only have contacts on the phone until I get my new mac. So I don't mind if it resets/wipes. I have tried every password I have ever used and it still stays at 6/10. Is there any other way to get the phone to reset even to factory?
    Sorry new to Blackberry phone....

    Just keep entering random stuff when it gets to 10/10 I think it will tell you to enter BlackBerry then enter a random password again it will then reset.

    That seems to be a problem I have tried and tried random and it won't go past 6/10. Thanks everyone for help. I will now go and try more and more randoms with hopes of it resetting

    Hi.typed blackberry and entered password.i could easily login coz I remember my password.how ever if we don't remember the password type blackberry and then try random passwords.after completion of 10 unsuccessful attempts device restores to factory settings and data will be wiped off.
