Would it work if I use headphones that aren�t provided with it? I don't have one yet but I'm planning on he one and I was just curious as to how the FM radio works on BB10 cos I have a Z10 (which doesn't have a radio).

Any headset works. Uses the headset an the antenna and if you unplug them, it turns off the FM tuner.

And how is the quality ? Unless in cities, my Z30 isn't really good

Just tried it, very rural here in the UK, some marginal stations. Nice clear audio when good signal (seems to match the car radio performance with individual stations really).

eta: As I am substantially deaf, to be able to get good clear audio is probably a very good sign, as that test was with earbuds that don't have amplification. I generally use an A2DP stereo bluetooth headset with good volume controls, but obviously that's no good for working the radio..

I use mine like a transistor radio. I have an old headphone set from the airlines that I plug into my Classic. I cut all but a short length of the headphones off and left six inches of wire plugged in. With that arrangement I can crank up the radio in the garden as I don't like headphones when I'm gardening.
