    my phone showed this message and after reading some posts im not sure what to do. blackberry link is not reading my phone so I cant backup any text messages or pictures. VERY DESPERATE - how can I fix my phone? please help someone. thanks

    Does it work on a different machine with a different windows installation? I had issues with my Q10 not being recognised before and a clean install actually resolved it. Turns out, it wasn't just my Q10, but even a webcam.

    Typed using my BlackBerry Classic running 10.3.2.2876 on WINDmobile HSPA+

    Yesterday my BlackBerry link could read my Classic. It connects to it quite right but just would do anything else. All I did was to uninstall my BlackBerry link, reboot my laptop and reinstall BlackBerry link again. And it works and was able to sync and back up.

    Try that. Hope it works for u too.
