I have a Z10 that I use one handed when typing an email or when messaging, (not very well). Would it be easier/better to use one hand or two hands ( Thumbs ) if I get a Classic?

I use two hands to be honest and find it difficult to type one handed.

My wife's classic is definitely wider than my Z10 so I would say way better to type 2 thumbed on a classic.

My berry keeps getting better...Z10 since Feb 2013

Either one is ok for me; depends what I'm doing. (Right now typing with 2 hands) but if I'm drinking coffee or want to shoot a quick message then 1 hand it is.....

Two hands is always easier when you are used to use it.

Two hands is always easier for any phone; what I think OP was asking is if it would be easier typing 1-handed on the Classic or the Z10 - I think the Classic is easier because of the physical keys, even though it is a little wider than the Z10.

I think one thumb on the Classic must be much slower than on the Z10 because you can't flick predicted words directly from the keyboard.
But it's just a thought. I had no chance to test the Classic yet... unfortunately.

It will be in some point, but then again typing in a physical keyboard gives more accuracy than anything. Plus the trackpad?... well it's build for one handed use I should say. But that's my take on it.

On the other note, there's a real ease knowing you type with your attention more to the texts rather with the keyboard... just like typing with computer keyboards. And yes, you can take out your eyes in it anytime you want without a doubt where your thumb/s had landed

Just for typing faster than any other device, two hands.
For everything else one hand, and most of then just one key.

I have both a classic and z10. I have no problems typing one-handed. The physical keys are really useful in ensuring accuracy. I typed this post one handed while eating cookies with my other hand lol I prefer 2 handed but if I need to then I'll use my left hand for one-handed typing. I would think the general consensus is that it is much easier/better to use 2 hands on the classic for emails and longer passages of text.

On a side-note the z10 is much more fun to type on one-handed bc it's narrower and the swiping of course. I wish I could swipe on classic keyboard like the passport does. Classic 2 mebbe?

I've always typed two-handed as it's more comfortable but one-handed will work if I need to send something on the go.

I can't type at all with one hand on any device I've owned. Touchscreen or not. I love banging away on my Q10 with two hands. So fast.

With the Z10 I could type with one hand but with the Classic it just feels right to use two.
