    I tried setting up my twitter account but due to the multiple entires of incorrect password I messed it up. I know the password now and can log on to the site, but the client refuses to log me. It says at every attempt to sign in "this account has already been created". I can't see a twitter account listed under Accounts either. Is there a way to clear the cache or something to reset the twitter client?

    I did a couple of times but it keeps saying "due to an expected error some features may not function properly" and then basically it doesn't log me in.

    I have the new classic and Twitter installed fine for me, the one thing I did do was after I logged into my BlackBerry account, I went into my BlackBerry world and I checked for updates before setting up or signing into any of my social media accounts.

    I would recommend to go onto the TWitter website and start a login there. This gives you much better error messages and possibilities to react. If you got it there - probably you will have to confirm a confirmation email (I don't know how they currently do it) and change the password - you can try it again on your device. This procedure is needed to be sure that Twitter hasn't locked you out. If you can login from the website you can also login from anywhere.

    If your device has already been successfully connected to your Twitter account it can also be needed to remove this old connection. This has to be done in the settings of your account on the Twitter website. In this case you must remove your device there and when you then open up a new connection from your device it will there be added again.

    I updated Twitter on the new Classic,
    I removed and added my phone on my account

    Still get the same error

    Twitter is the last thing I need to set up on the new phone.


    Any Idea?

    Yeah, great, what error exactly?
    Twitter is the last thing I need to set up on the new phone.
    If the phone is new you just have to create a Twitter account on the phone and enter your existing Twitter account's name and password. Works in a minute.

    Hope u get the problem resolved soon. Maybe try logging on on the PC like a poster suggested.

    I got Classic 10.3.1.747 (Somehow that plane is not flying...
    When I start Hot Spot, it just spins.. and keeps on spinning... nothing happens more.

    Thanks for the tip on Twitter. I have since installed Twittly. Works great.

    Hi. Not sure what you mean here.. HS is not even starting on the phone. Not sure what it has to do with the PC..

    As for Twitter, I did login through my PC, removed and added the phone to the account, reset the password etc..
    I installed Twittly. Works fine..

    In your previous reply you wrote that classic is on 10.3.1.747 ( 1154). That's why i asked you to update os to new official release 10.3.1.2243 or 2267.

    I see. It is not offered by my provider yet but it someone can confirm this will work, I will do the update
