Works perfectly for most of the apps. I use it on my Classic and Passport. Most of the productivity apps work fine. Some app like YouCam Perfect has screen scaling issues.

The processor in a Classic is worse that what is in a typical android phone, so you should expect them to run slightly slower.
I find its most noticeable during the applications start-up. Once it's running, it's usually fine.

I've yet to encounter an application that simply won't work.

Generally works fine, but always pre-load something if you know you need to use it. i.e. If I know I need TBT navigation soon, I'd load the app (GMaps or otherwise) 2 minutes before I actually needed to use it to avoid the inevitable frustration.
