Is it possible to set up a default email when composing a message?

When I press "compose", I just want it to go automatically to my work email. I haven't seen a way to do this. Seems like there should be a way since we can set up a default calendar.

Go to accounts and select defaults. In there you can select your default email and calendar

Thanks. But that only still gives me the choice of which email to chose.

There is not. Compose in itself will default to asking you what kind of message you want to compose.

OK thanks. That's too bad as it seems like it would be easy to do.

Yes it would be nice particularly to have shortcuts like hold E for new email, T for new text, etc.

There is however a small work around. Go to the specific account inside the Hub (for example, Gmail); now when you hit the compose button it will default to the account you're in.

Alternately, you can press the letter shortcut on PKB when hitting compose in the root Hub.

    That's a good idea, thanks.

I guess to that you could long press any key and assign it to an app (e.g. Whichever email you'd like to use). I did that earlier today and it worked. I think that's what you may be referring to when you mention the shortcut.

What I meant was when you press compose in the root Hub and the select account screen shows up, some accounts have a letter assigned to them on the right side of the screen (S for SMS, B for BBM, etc.). So on a PKD it's as easy as getting familiar with those shortcuts and becoming proficient pressing compose and then the shortcut letter for the account you wish to compose in.

    Interesting situation here:

I set up the "i" key as a shortcut to my work email when I am not in the Hub. However, I tried your suggestion about looking at the letters beside the different email clients while in the Hub, and the letter assigned was "e".

So when I am in the Hub. I can use "e", and when I'm outta the Hub, I can use the "i".
