    When you have some text that you'd like to copy, position your cursor at one end of the line, push and hold the shift key, then scroll over all of the text you'd like to copy.
    Then release the shift key, press the  key, press C for copy.(copy also works by pressing the  key twice, once all the text has been highlighted)

    Then to paste, scroll to where you'd like the text to go, push , then push V.

    BB key twice also pastes if you just copied something.

    The trackpad also doubles as a button and you can simply press it after you use it to highlight text. For me this is the best flow...

    It might seem redundant for those who don't have the Classic but part of what I love about it is how there are many ways to perform the same functions allowing the user to choose the best way for them.
