Wow, now I am finally glad I didn't opt for the Classic and instead went for the Passport here in Germany. I know it is just for cosmetics, but that stupid logo there would really bother me. One can only hope replacement parts will be available soon, so one can order a clear worldwide frame and replace that german CE piece of ****.

I ordered mine through Amazon. I don't have that on mine. I'm in the U.S.

That has to be some German thing - I have seen 8 classics so far, none of them have that marking on them. I'm in Canada!

BTW, it's in between the Q10 and 9900 but closer to the white Q10. So it's a slightly shinier satin finish.

This time don't blame the US. Blame the silly EU.

"The CE mark, or formerly EC mark, is a mandatory conformity marking for certain products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985."

What?? Don't blame the US? I don't think people can adjust to that so quickly...

I wasn't, just pointing out that this isn't on the US version (as there is one in the house).

I have a German Classic, and yes it has this logo on the side.

It is much less visible than in the picture! It's more like silver on silver (don't know how/why it is so darn visible in the pic). If you are not looking for it you might just not notice it.

Well for me it looks exactly like in the picture. It is very visible and ugly. Once I decide to keep it I'll try to get rid of it.

Just received my Classic from Shop BB UK and it also has that CE logo on the side. Its not as visible as the pic shows, nonetheless would rather it was not there at all.
