My device is a Blackberry classic, BB10 operating system and I cannot login to Facebook. I have tried to login from the browser AND from the newest Facebook app by blackberry. I can login on a desktop PC without problems. So I reset the password, uninstalled the Facebook app and reinstalled it. I entered the user name and password both without autocomplete--and with autocomplete. The error message is "unable to login" every time from browser or app. What to do? Any advice is appreciated!

The new Facebook app is simply a link to the mobile website, m.facebook.com.

Facebook stopped supporting its public APIs, thus the required change.

I just tried logging in and it worked. Not sure what the issue could be. Make sure to type the password case-sensitive. You can also try the face10 app. It works pretty good.

Thanks for the reply. It is the correct password and user name multiple attempts. I asked ATT (my carrier) and BB and they will not help out of warranty. Tried manual entry also. I can login to FB from another mobile device and desktop also, so it is a BB10 or device issue... PS is the face10 app a safe enough one in terms of user security? Thanks for the advice...

Thanks. I tried the mobile FB login from that URL and it does not work. Nor when I use the app. which I uninstalled since it did not function. I am befuddled and perplexed! I get a message from FB that I attempted a login from my Blackberry, but no luck getting into my account. Thanks for responding anyway...

I use the Facebook Lite downloaded from the google play store. It works smooth and i get notifications as well.
