I can't wait for this device anymore. I feel like I'm literally dying slowly for waiting.
You all know it's going to be the Ultimate / Business Blackberry device ever produced.

    1. Blackberry OS10
    2. Tool belt
    3. Keyboard
    4. Slightly bigger screen size (I think).
    5. Enhancement, (Camera, Battery, typing comfort, better grip), Etc.

    Mass production pls.

I so hope there is more screen size than on the Q10! I liked the proportions of the iPhone combined with that typo keyboard a lot!

Because John Chen has been playing with it a lot before showing it to public. A new one would look more clean and glowing.

The Classic looks really good. You also almost call it the Q10 Community Edition. Almost every critical voice since the Q10s release has been listened to and at least kind of adressed: People moaned the screen could be a bit larger. They missed the trackpad from legacy devices. People had trouble answering/ending calls and wanted dedicated buttons back. BBRY even re-introduced the silver bezel.

If I really won't be able to stand the new hybrid keyboard of the Passport, I'm surely getting the Classic instead.

    Double-typed and posted with a BlackBerry Q10.

Is that a charging port on the bottom? Can we expect a stand-up charger?

I believe that's the flap on the side for the SIM/SD above his thumb, and the volume/pause buttons above his finger.

I'm not 100% sure but I think yes. I really dislike placing charging port in the bottom.

Because it's annoying when you type or txt. I prefer placing it on the left like the 9900.

    Idea;
When we have dedicated "Call" and "End Call" hardware buttons on Classic then touch dialling should be disabled. Touch dialling create embarrassment sometime when with slight touch it calls automatically. I have faced this problem in 9900 and Q10.

Maybe making things optional, like the use of touch screen controls and the buttons, will be great. Since some functions of the buttons may be available from the screen.

I'm not a 100% sure how the basic gesture (swiping up) fits with the track pad, as I think the track pad is an obstacle for your finger...

It does look truly amazing! I can't sleep now. I think I read that it still has a removable battery. Is this confirmed? I helped someone purchase a Q5 today and had to tell him the battery is non-removable. He just stared at me in disbelief. He is also a long time BlackBerry user and was used to doing the battery pull Anyways, move over passport, never a doubt! Classic is my next BlackBerry!

Official 10.3 release will have long press space bar to swipe screen up into an active frame.

I agree. Wonder if they could not have used the Passport's touch enabled keyboard on the Classic and got rid of the track pad alone. Would've also been cool to use flick typing. Just sayin'.

Imho the flick typing on the Passport doesn't save as much time as it does on the full touch devices!

You only have 3 word suggestions (as you already have on the Q devices), the only difference is the flick on the keyboard instead of touching the screen! I don't think it saves a lot of time in comparison to the Q10 typing...

If you add the time it takes to find the right special characters ($-!*'+?-...) it won't be better than the previous typing experience (which is excellent btw).

But of course it is a gimmick to show off with that special keyboard...
