just got my 2nd Classic yesterday in case there is no Classic-2 coming available for some time, but would be one of the 1st to get a Classic-2 regardless, provided its running OS10 or higher.
Definitely! the Bold/Classic phone form-factor is the design it needs to be no doubt, like a Leica-M for cameras or a Jaguar E-type and Land Rover S2 for vehicles.
There are things that just have a iconic design and are made just perfect in the 1st place as a perfect base to tweak internally for better tech speck but the shell should never be changed.

I think we'll see this form factor again some day...but not in the immediate future. If BB is successful in turning the handset business around, then maybe in a few years we'll see a device with a PKB & belt again. But at that point it will likely be an Android device.

IF the Classic 2 is ever even birthed from BlackBerry's mighty loins, I will, in a heartbeat, be 1st in line... LOVE my Classic and would welcome and love to see a refresh in the future... Same form-factor, but with a little more 'pep' in its' step and a fresh BB10 OS upgrade would be a dream come true! (A shiny new BB10 OS would even make my current Classic 'new' all over again hence forth continuing my happiness...) I'll wait for a unicorn, but I won't get my hopes up... -Been there, done that... The unicorn NEVER came... -

That be great with the same or better specs than the Passport and having the light around the trackpad (like BlackBerry of past)... and more importantly running BB10 OS and NOT Android.

All the Classic could use is upgraded specs. Bb10 is pretty fluid but more RAM and upgraded processor would make this thing wonderful!!!

The Keyboard is 98% perfect! Don't change it! Unless you want to make it slightly bigger! Other than that it's perfect. "Maybe" improved cameras, but that's subjective I don't care too much about cell phone cameras. The increased RAM and current gen SOC would be the ultimate device!!!

Its a nice thought, but it will never happen. Either way new handsets are going the way of the Dodo.
Shame is a nice design, and is bullet proof. I feel the same way about my passport........greatest phone ever. Still can do all the heavy lifting with no issues. PS I have to use an Apple 6S+ once in a while, and I feel soooo dirty!

Google doesn't license to phones with 1:1 screen ratios to the Classic will remain BB10.

My BlackBerry Classic does all the things I need... I'm happy and enjoy my BlackBerry 10... saving to buy a BlackBerry Passport SE... want to have it as an evening at home phablet... :-)

If BlackBerry wants keep making phones they should update the Classic and Z30. I've spoken with many Android users and they don't believe the Priv is more secure than any other Android phone. They laugh at Priv's tiny keyboard and wouldn't be caught dead with a BlackBerry.

Had the classic had a four inch screen least, would have had one by now. I'd love to see a 3:2 passport like device with all rows and a tool belt for FUN!...

BlackBerry entered an already over saturated Android market place... late! And with a device, that like the other Android devices, will soon lack update.
