Raises a lot of interesting questions...

Will the Classic with Android OS ever be built? Would you buy one? What should the specs be?

    Let me know your thoughts?

I might get OK with it IF it opened things up for UI improvements. ??

Otherwise, I still work with Sun guys from a "previous life". Google "ethics" are incompatible with my own.

I would not buy one with Android to replace the Classic... The Classic is perfect as is for all I need... I'd consider an all-touch BlackBerry running Android as my secondary device, but not the Priv (Slider form factor is hideous)...

The 1st things I do with all my Android devices are root them, custom mod them and rip Google services and all of its' bloatware from the device immediately... If a BlackBerry Android is unrootable I am not interested... (Unless some ingenious method of ridding the device of Google services/isolating Google services completely exists in which case I would consider it...)
