I finally decided on getting a Classic which will be delivered to me today! The Passport was a thought but decided on the Classic instead. I currently have a Q10 which is great, but looking forward to making the Classic my primary device. I'm a little late on using the Classic but hey, better late than Never!

It may take some getting used to coming from the Q10. Give yourself a few days to adjust to the slightly larger size and weight. I actually had my Classic back in the box ready to send back to VZW a couple of times. I am so glad I gave myself some time to adjust because this phone is great.

Congrats! It's a beautiful device! I have used a Classic for several months now... Absolutely adore it... I pondered the Passport as well and demo'd it, just too large and awkward to be a practical phone for me... The Classic captured my heart... Has room for improvement here and there, but thus far this device has been the only BB10 device to date that has brought me happiness...

Enjoy the unboxing! That's my favorite part!

GraCal, I'm still toying with switching from my Q10 to a classic. Besides the weight, what else made it take a while to get used to for you? What pro or con differences have you noticed between the two devices?

I loved the size/weight of the Q10 and got very used to that. That was what I was really teetering on at first. The LCD screen and tool belt won me over in addition, at the time, the Classic had 10.3 vs 10.2 (on the Q). This meant I could open applications as well as have numbers preset. I send a lot of emails so being able to program the "E" button to open a new email, for example, saved me 2 or 3 steps.

Also, I'm a bit picky on having a clean screen. The tool belt allows me to not have to touch the screen as much.

I still wish BlackBerry made a Classic mini - a Q with a tool belt and LCD screen.

That would be the perfect sized device. One handed operation, slim and compact with no issues what-so-ever. Not too mention that I still have a number of accessories for the 9900.
