Just wondering if anyone here knows of a way to make the official BlackBerry Classic soft shell a little less loose. I tried throwing it into the freezer overnight a few times, seems to help a little bit. As is, the shell isn't super loose, but it isn't super tight either.

I don't know if it will work for the softshell you have but, for my Otterbox, I occasionally throw the silicone layer into a boiling pot of water for 10 minutes or so and immediately put it into ice cold water after. This seems to "shock" the rubber back and tighten it up.

Again, not sure if it would work for any materials but for the Otterbox it works wonders. Tightens it up as good as new everytime!

After boiling, does it affect the physical appearance/looks of the silicone? Warping of the buttons?

Not at all. But, again, different material so be cautious.

Nice to know. I will try it on my defender.

    Same case.

If the thin bit in front of the headphone jack is loose, you will definitely be happy with the result. That's the only place that mine has really ever become loose. I've done it a few times now over the year or so that I've used the case and it always works.

The method is Stretch Armstrong approved.

I don't use the case because it's hard to press power button with it on.

Yes! I picked up the blue one a few weeks ago and it takes a lot of effort to get the power button to push on/off. I have actually been pleased with how well the case fits my Classic. The only complaint is the power button issue.

    +1

I believe it is a design flaw.
