Hi,

I love the Classic's trackpad and been looking for some simple games that feature it.

Hate using the touch screen when you have to move the character around. Imagine playing Pacman, Sky forces, Arkanoid, bomberman etc with the trackpad! That will be just 1 finger, so natural.

I failed to find any though. Any recommendations please!

Imagine games like Street Fighters or Counter-Strike utilizing the toolbelt and physical buttons. It'll be so amazing.

Something like the Bit.Trip games would work quite well on the trackpad. I think you can only get these titles on the Wii and PC, but they would work well, and for the more specific handling ones the keyboard would work well too.

There's a similar set of games called Art Style. I think it was called Art Style: Light Trax where you control a beam of light on a course, really cool and minimal, reminds you of the original Tron film (although not the light cycle sequence).

The problem is those are minority games that will probably never get to a minority model of a minority platform like the Classic. Not trying to be negative, but I don't think you get any of those on an iPhone even!

It's probably a pain to code. Look how long it took BlackBerry to just integrate it into the basic OS.

And they still got it wrong compared to BBOS. The menu key doesn't always bring up a menu and the green phone button doesn't call any highlighted numbers.

And the crooked arrow to the right of the trackpad used to always take you back to where you were...

Browser, it was the back button... HUB, it took you back to your list of messages... It always took you back.

I still hit it out of years of habit and it closes the app...
