I tried to install Google Maps (I believe v.6.8.x) and it installed from the apk but I noticed that where you set app permissions under settings, all the app permissions for Google Maps were greyed out. Only the native BB apps were customizable. I would prefer not to allow contacts from being accessed by Android apps but this does not seem possible. Is there a work around by chance?

    Thanks.

I use an app called App Ops to control android app permissions. Hopefully, it'll be embedded in a future os.
