I would think the Classic is much better than the Leap! Especially for BB people who love the keyboard and specs. To each his own though. Nothing beats the Passport though.

NFC, slimport, pkb, toolbelt, slightly better specs, worth the extra money in my opinion.

Probably find some used for cheap.

Well nfc slimport compass and keyboard are the only better specs, the trade-off being a screen almost twice the surface area and I believe a better battery.

At a discount price of $400... it's a really nice device though it's certainly priced too high compared to other competitors. A phone for the die-hards I'd say.

I just don't like the idea of buying a used phone. Especially if I intend to use it for a long time.

I couldn't care less about having more screen space. I'm faster with my physical controls than any of my friends with their touchscreens, so I'll stick to efficiency over "cool" any day. But that's just me.

Hmmm, this is an interesting deal, I may have to go and check one out for myself. $400 is a reasonable price I suppose, although ideally would have liked to see it down to around $350.

Truth be told the classic is more or less a q10 with a trackpad. Nothing else is different the screen is just a square.

I really want to buy a Classic for my wife, but $399 is still too expensive for an impulse buy. Please just come down to $299.

You're going to have to find one used for that price. You'd be surprised what you might be able to find though. Some people use a device for a week and sell it. I think I bout my Classic for about $325 used about 6 months ago and it was in mint condition. Still locked to the carrier but, thankfully, the same carrier I use.

A big thanks for this Stomps01 - a $360 CAD Classic is a good price considering clean used ones are north of $300 with no warranty.

399 for the classic??? That's a rip off. The classic is only worth paying around 200 for. It's slow and not the greatest phone. The camera quality alone makes me wanna throw this classic

To each their own. Just because it doesn't have a great camera, doesn't necessarily halve the value of the device for everyone. That's like me saying because the new Samsung Galaxy doesn't have removable storage, it should only cost 300 bucks.

Your logic is broken. The Classic is a very decent device. Where it lacks in some areas, it thrives in others. It's the best at being what 'a BlackBerry' is known for being - a communications device.
