Anyone know if the battery used in the previous Bolds (1500mAh) will work on the 9900? I noticed when kevin was putting in the battery in his unboxing video that the battery size looked similar to the batteries used in the previous Bolds. And if that will affect the nfc chip then I don't care cuz I'd rather have a bigger battery than nfc. So if anyone who has the 9900 can give that a try and let us know if it works. Thanks!

Well that's a bummer. I hope this battery doesn't dissapoint and is better than what my Torch's battery is giving me now.

Battery models aren't interchangeable. The batteries contain a power management circuit in it, designed to work with the device(s) it goes in. It remains to be seen if An expanded capacity battery and back are offered.
