Well since both Verizon and Sprint offer the Bold 9650 i think its okay to assume both will offer the Montana.

    Anyone care to guess a price? 750 off contract, 350 on a 2 year, 425 on a 1 year?
Not that it matters. Plenty of time to save up

I am very excited to see the 9000 form factor come back to life this year. The specs look plenty good.

I am just hoping all these great phones arent going to be tied to 3g speed. RIM put LTE in the Montana and you for sure have a buyer in me. I don't think I will be able to sign a 2 year contract on 3g it just seems like old tech now... and I obbviously want top of the line

I would guess it will be cheaper than that......You can get a high end droid with better specs for less money! Time will tell!

It doesn't look like its going to be an LTE device. Huge letdown.

Ohhh, well, RIM has that covered. See...6 months after Verizon unleashes the Montana (which we waited 2 years for), RIM will unleash the Wyoming (the LTE version) so us consumers can get a proper a**fu*king...the good old fashioned way; with NO lube. Yay!

I think RIM will be waiting for most if not all carriers to transition to LTE. As many of you know AT&T will be using HSPA+ until full LTE rollout. It would be very hard as a manufacturer to make some devices LTE, some HSPA+, etc.

Other carriers seem to be able to do it, so should RIM.

If you're talking about the U.S., I'd assume both Verizon and Sprint will carry the Bold Touch price it normally to $199.99 for 2yr new or upgrade. Doubtful the price would be higher

Just saw this, and I hope it becomes true for Verizon. My girlfriend has a Tour now, but its starting to crap out on her. She could get the current Bold 9650, but she might be able to hold out a little bit longer. If it had LTE built into it, I would probably get it myself.
