Windows users (XP SP3): Go into tools > Folder Options. Uncheck "hide file name extensions for known file types", click Apply, then OK. Now, renaming them will work.

Windows Vista, 7 users: Go into Control Panel and then, Folder Options. Ensure that All icons are shown in control panel, then uncheck the same option that's also listed for XP users.

Rootbrian, all other fonts except Arial worked for me.
    Why is that?
is there any way to get back our default fonts?
