No FM radio on the 9900. Only on the Curve 9360.

The Bold doesn't have the hardware for it, only the Curve.

Why don't you just get a "real" radio with FM/AM - and all sort of noise killing features- or even a head-set with radio built-in. They are all around for 10$ and up,.. they are small enough to hide in any of your pockets, it uses it's own battery - so no need to worry about the precious power of the phone etc...

(Take a look at this nice radio from Coby)

Or - just use Nobex radio and stream on the BB .. if you have a good Internet connection.

Only a few BB models have hardware supporting FM radio, and 99xx not being one of them.

Ya and it was free for a long time and then went back to normal. I downloaded when it was free. The only problem with Internet radios is that if you use it a lot, it will eat up your data very fast. FM radio, there is no limit to the data flow.

Tunein and Flycast are fee free. I'm partial to Tunein.
TuneIn rocks, but wish we had a all-feature enabled for the Playbook as well...
In the beginning they said they were working on a beta, but suddenly it went quiet from them... anyone know why or what happened?

The radio works great on my 9380 but what I don't like is that in order for it to work you have to plug in the earphones. They act as an antenna.

Do people listen to radio with their phones a lot? Not trying to be rude, I really want to know.
