ive noticed that my blackberry has a reddish tint all over except on the touch screen and keyboard. is there any way to "clean" or get rid of the red?

What do you store your phone in? (ie: pants pocket, case, purse, etc)

I chipped the edge of my housing and noticed it was turning blue...from sitting in my jeans.

Not a solution to your problem, but at least if you can identify the red culprit you can prevent further reddening. For cleaning, try a Magic Eraser and some Blackberry-friendly cleaner (ie Zagg Cleaner)

it's always in my dress pants pocket which is white. I'm confused where the red is coming from >_<

It could be some sort of reaction to the detergent you use. That's all I can think of. I use a pocket pouch for my white 9900,so no such experience.

i have a case on my 9900 so the back is still white, but i want to take it off and the only thing stopping me is that im afraid the back will get the reddist tint too pretty much only the little thing on the bottom has turned red (the place where it says your carriers name). Do you guys think the back is made out of the same material and will also get this reddish tint?

you could aalways put a full body zagg protector on it so none of the blackberry can get white, you can buy a new bottom bit for your keyboard and stick it on easily if you want to get rid of the red bit
