Where's that white Bold 9900/9930?

I'm thinking of giving the 9900/9930 another try. I've seen a few photos of the white 9900/9930's online. But the Big 3's don't carry the white Bold. Is there a "valid" reason why the white version is not released to the US market? I know RIM's behind on the popularity contest, but why would they release the white Bold in other countries, but not in the US?

The white 9000 came out like a year after the black one did (on at&t). The white 9700 and 9780s launched at the same time I think (on T-Mobile, I know for sure the 9780 did, I bought it the day it came out). I don't know why RIM would want to NOT release the white 9900...especially with BB10 phones around the corner. I'd think they'd want to give their OS7 sales a shot in the arm..a white 9900 on at&t and T-Mobile or a 9930 on Verizon certainly wouldn't hurt.

Parts cost 70 bucks give me 20 for my time. Parts take 2 weeks to get to me so if you interested let me know i can order the parts. You pay shipping both ways for your phone. If you need a new phone all together let me know.

Replacing the casing is always an option. Just like anything else, you can replace pretty much anything with aftermarket parts. But I don't want to buy a new phone just to replace 20% of the parts.
