Here we go. A thread like this was started with the 9000 and it turned ugly. Somehow it turned into how if your BB was made in Mexico that I was garbage. Then all of the sudden users were running around town asking to see the box to make sure it wasn't a Mexican unit. Current 9000 users were taking their Mexican units back. Goodness.
Nothing wrong with wanting a device manufactured in my country. Esp when im paying $550 for it.
Either way, they didn't have any made in Loo.
Thanks for the data... and I agree. I am a Canadian and I would like to see more jobs here so that I can have a job here too.... I feel for the workers in other countries, but we need jobs here too.

Until workers here agree to work for a dollar a day, or people here are willing to pay more for things... outsourcing is going to happen.
And this is exactly what happened with the last one. Except it was much worse.
Oh, you know it'll get much worse - it happens with every new device. One person will say "my so and so doesn't seem quite right"......then it starts. The "yeah, mine is the same way"......responses. Like jumping on the band wagon!!!
It is interesting that most devices were made in Mexico but I hope this thread doesn't lead to elitists saying their phone was made in a 'better' factory. Phones can be made faulty in any factory, just because the countries where the devices are made aren't hugely wealthy doesn't mean the machinary making the handsets is any different.
