Dear all,

My WhatsApp (2.8.7217) is having issues atm..
It is trying to connect but it is stuck on step 4; Updating.
After a while it is displaying Sync error: NullPointerException

When I looked it up in the event logger it gives me de folowing error:

But that is a bit to hightech for me so maybe someone can explain?

Thank you for posting this stack trace. We were able to find the bug that caused it, and it should be fixed in the next beta.
