    I have the BB Bold 9900....I am still getting this hourglass which is making it impossible to do anything....Text...Email...Even trying to bring the main menu up without this happening???
    The only apps i have are Twitter...FB and WhatsApp...

    Sounds like you need to perform a battery pull... then possibly an OS update.

    Thanks...I did see an update available but im always unsure with them incase i lose everything!!! It says version 7.0.0 bundle 2406 for update but i really hate things like this incase something somewhere goes wrong!

    Use BlackBerry protect then perform your battery pull and update. Use of BlackBerry protect will save information and allow you to locate a lost or stolen phone.

    Don't be scared to update. Just make sure to remember to make regular backup's of your data so if anything ever happens, you won't lose all your data. If you're not familiar with "backing up" the device, let us know and we'll help out. )

    First of all WIPE your phone and RE-INSTALL OS (Make sure its OS 7.1) and that should fix all that hour glass waiting thing

    Well for one instead of having a fancy transition etc. when it's busy you get an hour glass.

    About the only place I get the hourglass is in AppWorld - go figure. When things slow down, I always try a reboot. Clears things up for me.
