Just did a soft reset as I usually do every few days and upon restarting, I received the BB Registration notice and now have this new icon on the top right...anyone know what it is?

Which icon? They all look normal to me. Location On, Wifi, Bluetooth.

That's what it is...the location icon. I knew I'd seen it before but could not remember what it was. I'm not sure what's going on but now that I've turned location off, the icon still shows but without the signal bars.

Without the signal bars means location is off.

Yes w/out the bars is off but I've never had the icon show before until now.

This is funny. I've wondered why the gps icon never shows on my device. GPS is on and works fine. Oh well, I'm not gonna loose any sleep over it.

This may be because your GPS or Location Services are having a conflict?
