Default weirdest problem on my bold yet

I woke up this morning to this sh*t. When I plug my headphones in, my volume won't increase past 50% in the media player. But when I play a song through the speakers, everything works fine. I did a batter pull 3 times and nothing. Is there a volume limiter on the 9900?

Weird for sure. Only thing top of mind - Did you recently install a new OS or any new apps?

Could be a shot in the dark here but do you have Audio Boost disabled in your media player options? Maybe it keeps it below 50% for hearing protection or something

have you installed any new apps right before this problem? You could try to update/downgrade to a different OS. Thats the only other solution I have for ya
