Today my battery lasted the whole day and I still had over 40%. I installed the leak .440 then I turned off gps(don't know if I needed to). I also deleted GroupMe app, I saw that even with it closed, still used my CPU in options. Unplugged it at 8:10 and just plugged it at 11:27. I use whatsapp messenger and browser all day. Just weird, wanted to see if anyone else has had a good day on battery for once... Avg discharge rate 2.5

Battery today was less than average for the amount of use. I was off the charger at 9.15am. Its now 9.45pm and I'm at 41%. Minimal usage today so that's about 4.8/hr discharge. Pretty bad actually I guess haha

I'm on the vz 9930 and the past two days the battery life has been great right at around 12-14 hrs. Still on the stock os. Any other good changes w your leaked os?

Turning the gps off probably was the biggest battery saver. I've consistantly have a 10-11% dc rate :/ I envy people that can go a whole day without having to charge there 9900.

The touchscreen response is suburb. Also the OS feels much more snappy than the stock OS

I come from Android where rooting does give you more options as far as the rom goes but it comes at a cost...after a while the phone begins to bog down and become very slow. Does this ever happen to BBs when going with something outside the Operator approved OS?

Born-again BB User. Thanks for the reply.

Hmm, on AT&T and I had the same experience. Battery used only 30% all day.
Reminded me of the 9780 and 9700.
    I wonder what's up?
