Ok so no idea why today I got this notification, I do not pay for Voice Mail nor do I have it set up. So if it's a glitch, how do I clear the notification?

And if I click the icon on the home screen it does not show any message for the notification.

Yeah, I've had that problem. I called my phone from my wife's mobile and left myself a voicemail. Then I deleted it from my phone, and the icon went away.

Well what gets me is I don't even have VM activated, that was an extra $5 a month that I never needed because I am good with Caller ID. So I can't do that.

I wonder if Rogers is sending messages out this way? I doubt it though. They usually use text messages for new offers, etc.

Will have to dig into this tonite.

deleted complete call log history, rebooted, Memory scan, received call history........symbol still there.

ok good news, it seems that leaving the battery out for almost 2 hours cleared the Notification.

When I logged in with my PW I saw a bunch of "@" symbold and something about "authenticating device" or something but anyway its back to normal.

When in doubt, pull that battery!
