Verizon releasing OS 7.1.0.580 for 9930

FYI

I don't know if it is available as an ota yet. But as an enterprise customer, this morning 7.1.0.580 is available for deployment from my BES!

My Verizon rep says that the same version for the 9850 should be released tomorrow.

I've had it since last week, but this is good news for those who like OTA and carrier released versions.

The OTA version was available on my Verizon 9930 yesterday and mine upgraded without any problems, everything is working fine. Love this phone and it's even better now.

Is this the same as the update - 7.1 Bundle 1737? I have nothing but problems with this yesterday.

My OTA upgrade came through yesterday without a problem. The frustrating thing, though, was that I had to re-setup all of my apps - FB, BeBuzz, BeWeather, etc., so be prepared. You may have to re-enter app keys. Otherwise, everything is good!

My update went fine but i dont have blackberry messanger anymore but it says in app world that i have it installed.

That happened to me yesterday too. Kept getting an error and I could not delete and re-add the app.

Did you resolve it or are you still having the issues? I know sometimes if you dont do anything it ll just randomly pop up again.

You need to downgrade BBM the re-install through App World.

Go to rroyy.com and download/install previous version of BBM
Reboot
Uninstall BBM
Reboot
Install BBM through App World
Reboot

I wonder when us 9380 users will get this update if it's as good as youse all say it is, it'll be worth upgrading (yet) again

I rolled back the upgrade but I am trying this again today... Will post what the results here in the next hour or so.

Ok cool. I had the same issue and that is how I resolved it.

For some reason, My BlackBerry Travel is not syncing my trips to my calendar after the upgrade. Any suggestions to get that working again?

Got it working again. had to go in and edit the trips and save the changes. Then it synced.

What's in this update other than multi languages, file size for me shows 214MB, Sprint's is like 281.53MB. Thnx.

Does anyone know if this fixes the bug where if you used normal headphones, after removing them it would kill the phone's mic until a reboot?

Yeah that was my only issue.

Onestly I don't know how much I'd feel satisfied without reading each COD or shrinking it before installing, God knows what I'd do with a CDMA carrier

I downloaded the software once and then said install. It said it was a bad file. So i downloaded again and it took it. Im installing as I type. Do I need to find the first download that was bad and delete it? Or, did it just override the first attempt? Thank you. If All goes well and this works well......I ordered a new case from Crackberry for my phone and it should be here when I get home. Hoping for a very Berry day.
