hi so i decided to mod my blackberry bold 9900 from black to white. i purchased a white oem full housing from truesupplier.com and started replacing everything. then, i was dumb enough to tear out the black glass from the lcd thing to replace with the white one and the screen didn't work, i went to get a new oem lcd screen of the same code 001/111, but when i fixed it in, the screen still doesnt light up, ive checked the ribbon cable and its fixed in properly, anyone knows what's going on with my bb? one thing to note is that ive used screws from my previous 9700 cuz the current screws were blunted by my screwdrivers so.. yeah, idk if it affects the lcd screen from working, everything on my phone is working fine but the lcd screen... i need a solution asap thanks a lot!!!!

what do you mean by tear out the black glass? Do you just mean you took the lcd out, or did you try to take the digitizer off of the lcd screen itself?
