Hi all, My 9900 is currently running 7.0.0 and I was trying to upgrade to 7.1 but the software updates tab on the phone says I'm up to date and the updates option through desktop manager says there are no updates available.

Am I missing something obvious or is there a more complicated route to get updated?

Decide what OS you want to use, download and install it on your PC.

Delete the Vendor.xml files either manually or by using Vendelete and it will then show up in DM as an available update.

Do a full backup and away you go.

Excellent, one more question where do you find the vendor.xml files on the phone? Oh and one more... Is there any reason it doesn't just show as an update? Something to do with my service provider maybe?

Actually just had a google and pretty much answered my own questions. Seems an update will only show if its supported by my service provider (O2 UK) and the vendor files are on the computer after I download! I'll have a go at this tonight. Many thanks.
