During the last two days my phone has been acting up along with all the other bugs that 9900 users complain about. Yesterday my phone was locking up on the home screen and wouldn't respond to any clicks or functions using the keypad, mouse, or touchscreen. After performing a restart, I received a JVM error with hourglass and mini clock timer icons while the phone was trying to load the network carrier logo and home screen. I was forced to do another restart and luckily the error hasn't returned, however now I've noticed that all my instant message conversations have been wiped out. This happened months back after some App World updates but now it does it to me once again.
