    Default Uncaught exception errors?

    Okay, y'all - another question...

I've been getting a lot of "uncaught exception errors" the last couple of weeks. Can't remember if they've all been the same, but a common one is "application net_rim_bbid_daemon (164) is not responding process is terminated". Then it has "ok" in a blue box under the message.

I've just been hitting the "ok" button and continuing on with the day. I haven't noticed any problems or anything, but the continuing, and frequency, of the messages have me a bit concerned. Ideas/suggestions?

I haven't downloaded any new apps lately; haven't updated software (I tend to wait for carrier release; don't ask why...)

    9900 on AT&T; 7.0.0.576

    Thanks!

I have as well - and it's irritating me.

I'll have to check next time I use it - it seems to be at startup. Unfortunately my crap eyesight coupled with allergies has me back on a large screen as I simply can't read the 9900 right now, well not without a bad headache ensuing.

Haven't shrunken or otherwise changed the os.

And, come to think of it, the error messages most often pop up after a re-start. I use deReset, and it resets each night. But again, it's not a newly-added app...

Mine all of a sudden started doing it as well. Only at startup and no changes to apps in weeks.

Maybe. If it gets problematic I'll wipe the phone.

Started getting it lately too with no changes to the phone other than updating Blackberry Protect.

Mine is an application_net_RIM_messages or something like that, and at that point none of my emails show up in the messages app; just text, BBM and Whatsapp.

Sometimes have to restart 2 or 3 times before the error clears and everything works.

I've been getting this on my Torch 9850 as well. It just says "Uncaught exception" Doesn't actually name a specific file or anything. Odd :|

I got that right after installing an OS. I wiped it and reinstalled the same OS and haven't seen it again yet.
