Morning all.

I used to get the UMA signal when hooked up to my WIFI at home on my Bold 9700, I havent managed to get that since moving to my 9900... any ideas? I'm using 7.0 OS and am on Orange UK.

The 9900 doesn't have a UMA chip like the 9700 did. Instead it uses Wifi Calling via an app integrated into the OS. The main difference between the 2 is that Wifi Calling will not seamlessly hand-off to the network when out of wifi range like UMA does, and your call will be dropped.

Anyway, wifi calling is only available in OS7.1

WIFI Calling does work reasonably well as phil has stated on version 7.1,iam using the .267 build and iam happily connected here on orange uk.

it can be intermittent at times but iam prepared to put up with that for the time being.

Officially orange state official support will be coming sometime in february this year.
