Just had a seemingly legit email from BlackBerry UK offering a free charger and battery to Bold 9900 owners. Seems to direct to the UK Blackberry website as well.

no real info and i put the pin in for my 2 - 9900's and it would accept neither - said i am not entitled to the offer - reading comments on another site that seems to be the common theme - both phones 2nd hand - originally non contract phones as far as i know via carphone warehouse in the UK

when i put mine in it rejected it, i then tried and used capitals for the PIN and it worked, so might be worth a try. also id imagine the email needs to be either the email you recieved on or maybe tied to your BBID

Doesn't work for me either, I was originally on a one year contract on Vodafone (via CPW). Emailed them, we'll see what happens...
