Anyone here use the blackberry twitter? Do you experience the hourglass frequently? I am convinced that twitter is the reason i keep getting the hourglass. I uninstalled the blackberry twitter and will try ubersocial to see if my theory is correct. any feedback on either BB twitter or ubersocial?

I've used BB Twitter since I got my phone. Never really had a problem with it slowing my phone down or any hourglassing. That being said, I've never tried any other twitter app for my BB.

Why not reinstall the stock twitter?

If you keep getting the hourglass then try the other twitter apps.

I've never had a problem with Twitter for Blackberry. I actually prefer uber, but with it not being as integrated I stick to twitter for Blackberry. Still no hourglaSs issue though.

I don't like the Blackberry Twitter version and use UberSocial. It has a lot more functions and shortcuts with multiple accts than the Blackberry Twitter has last I checked.

I have to agree with blue. I am not a fan of the native Twitter app. I used Uber for awhile, then switched to SocialScope. Main reason was multiple accounts and smart grouping.

I've tried all 3 that were mentioned and I stuck with Twitter for Blackberry. I just like it and I don't have many accounts to integrate anyway. I don't get lag issues either, and I dont have it automatically refresh because I manually do it.

I also manually refresh but have found that depending on how much time has passed, the refresh doesn't capture everything since the last refresh. The only way I've solved it is to sign out and sign back in.

I use both Twitter for Blackberry and SocialScope. I use T4BB only for the push notifications. I reply and view my TL using SocialScope

Its too early to tell. I haven't been much on it today. But before I would always leave it opened. Now I close it. But no hourglass so far.

Btw, I have the BB twitter running. I have put it to manually refresh. AND I have NOT gotten the hourglass in 2days. So the reinstalling has worked. BB back to awesome again.

Also, I still get the hourglass after installing bb twitter. But a lot less now.
