Really? No notification, no light, you set your own hours, as soon as you disconnect from dock or USB cable everything is good to go! Especially with BBM, you know exactly when u got that message!

At home, my bb turns off overnight but it is in my den, blinking green, so I'm undisturbed. But when away in hotels or locations where the bb is charging where I sleep, I do what another poster suggested - I turn it face down.

You guys really gotta look into the clock options and learn how to use the Bedside mode. This is one of my favorite features that would stop me from using another phone manufacturer.
