okay so i was using my 9900 outside today and i realized the touch screen didnt work, like sometime it did and other times it didnt. about 90% of the time i was outside the touch screen wouldnt recognize me touching the screen but the other 10 % it was fine. i tried battery pull, no help . and it works fine at home, only when i go outside it has problems.

The touch screen not responding in direct sunlight is a common issue with many people, on several OS versions.

Some say it's fixed in .318 but I've never had that problem or used that OS, so I can't comment.

That's a wierd one. Not sure that the sunlight would affect it. Maybe glare or something.

I could be wrong though.

I am having this issue since i upgraded to OS 7.1 no matter which version
Just hide the trackpad and see if screen works fine if so its the OS issue, same with mine
If i go back to OS 7.0 its working fine there

Yup I've been having this problem for the longest. I spent my day walking through nyc and had to go indoors to use my phone.
