Anyone else have their face accidentally activate mute or speakerphone while talking on the handset? I know it is supposed to have a proximity sensor for this purpose but twice on the same call today I activated the mute or speaker phone. I previous had a Storm and never saw this problem. Other than that loving the phone.

I was hoping it was like my Desire HD: you put your ear up to the phone and the screen goes off and comes on again when you take it away.

This is exactly how my 9930 behaves. Not sure what is wrong with the OP's phone, but the proximity sensor is supposed to disable the touchscreen when you use the phone next to your head. Mine works fine.
