I've got the 9900 Bold Touch and usually at the top as with any phone there is a panel that has the time, signal strength, wi-fi info etc ........ well after upgrading a few applications like Facebook, BlackberryPprotect and Blackberry App World it did its usual reboot, but when it had finished rebooting the whole of the top panel has now completely dissapeared ?!?!
has this happened to anyone else and if so do you know a way of getting this back to normal. I can't see what the time is at a glance, nor can I see the signal strength at all !!
I've just sorted it. I had already tried the battery pull but that did not work. i noticed it happened after the upgrades so i thought I would uninstall them one by one and see what happens. The latest uppgrade of Blackberry Protect caused it to happen for some odd reason because now that i've uninstalled it, it's all back to normal.
Shame really considering I used the Blackberry Protect. oh well !!
