If you don't mind QWERTZ keyboard and 2nd hand 9900, try ebay.de. Look at the pictures carefully on a computer and I don't hesitate asking the sellers the status of the phones. Most of them don't offer shipping outside Germany but if you ask, some will. With luck and patience, you may get a really nice one.
Price will be around 30-45 euro and DHL small packet is 9 euro within Europe. Brand new one will cost insanely high in Europe.

I've noticed that many of you are using (third party) wall-chargers, is that type of battery charging good and safe for the battery? I heard people saying that charging batteries with anything other than the original charger is bad and that can damage the battery.

Yes use it all the time.
Charge batteries for Bold and Z10.
Have also used it in the past for my Storm 2.
No problems so far !

I have a Passport SE and a Bold 9900, and I enjoy using them both. It's really amazing what the Bold can do.

Data unit is kb.
Voice time is 3 hr 28 min and 57 second, so it was used for a couple of days.
But check the pictures as well, or if the pictures were taken with wrong lighting and angle, ask the seller for a better one.

Can you get him to send pictures with the battery cover off ? ( that shows the phone 's info)
This way you can compare imei / pin numbers.

Also of the battery ( the side with the info)

If he cooperates and everything matches , then it looks to be a good deal !

Practically pristine. Grab it for cheap, and who cares if you can use it as daily driver or not? It'll be a joy just to hold in your hands and do simple tasks. I use my Bold as an ereader. Pure joy. I ignore my nook and kindle tablet!

On phone goto: options / device and status information.
( make him take picture of screen with info to compare )
