Seems as though were going to be stuck with our 99xx device for about another year or so...Time for us to start harrassing companies that should have apps working properly for our devices or stop using those companies. Lets get on Amazon to get us an official version of Kindle, Audible, Amazon mp3 cloud, Amazon store, PayPal, a more reliable version of Pandora...etc (the list goes on and on).
Im hoping that now that developers and companies see that it will be os7 for some time to come that they start helping us out a bit.
A little pressure on RIM to get a (real) properly working wifi calling and mobile hotspot couldn't hurt also. Good software updates and support can bridge us over is done properly.

No BBX or BB10 device til October of 2012...if were lucky. We can stick it out if the don't deprive us too badly.

its worth noting that for `most` people, they take a phone on contract of 2 years and upgrade near the end of the contract. so for example someone that got a torch 9800 last year wont be due an upgrade till BB10 time anyways, the whole `new phone every device launched` is not a common thing.

    It works in reverse order...
No apps because BB users don't use/ pay for/ subscribe those apps.
    ..
iDevices and Android users do all kind of dumb and crazy stuffs.
    BB users are very reserved.
    RIM is not doing enough...
e.g., no video tuts for bb/playbook development.
