Default Thoughts if on what I should do....

I'm looking at buying a Bold 9900 unlocked as I'm in Australia travelling... I happened to find a iPhone 4 32GB at a bar. When I managed to get it restored, it had been IMEI blocked, so it's pretty much just my iPod now.

But I was going to get a Bold 9900 and update it to 7.1, cause they have $50 plans with Telstra here that you gets you 2GB of data. If I'm hot spotting the Bold and jumping on iMessage on the iPhone while I'm out, do you think it will eat alot of data. I'm pretty much just gonna respond to some peoples messages and then get offline. Pretty much either everyone is on iPhone or BBM, so I figure I will have the best of both if I just got a Bold 9900.

    Thoughts?

Take it back to be honest... I remember loosing my PSP a week after I got it and kind fellow returned it. you may get a reward. Plus a clear concience. Sorry to edit so drastically, but that's the right thing to do.

Ill give you 50 bucks for the iphone. Then ill contact the one who lost it and return it.

But if you had an ipod touch, you could make it work with your hotspot

I called and left my name and number at the bar, incase anyone came back looking for it. Didnt get a call.... this thing was smashed front and back. They probably didnt want it hahaaha. Oh well... I figured I'd hold on to it instead of me bringing it back to the bar where a bartender would just snatch it...

I agree not to bring it back to the bar, because I'm sure a worker will take it. But try to look in the phonebook or something for a number to call.

The person who lost it may have lost it on purpose to get a new one from their carrier!

Take it to the carrier's store. That way the carrier can ensure that it is returned to its rightful owner.

Character is defined in doing the right thing when no one else is looking. What does it say when one brings attention to their inability to do the right thing?

Bringing it to the carrier is a really good idea. I think that's the best option.

I'm not sure if 2GB of data would be enough with an iPhone. On the other hand you would be getting more for your money since BlackBerry compresses data.

Find the owner of the phone and return it. Isn't that what you'd hope someone would do for you if you left your phone somewhere?
