    does it fit without having to change the back cover? i would hate to have to settle for an ugly looking battery cover for some extra battery life....

    Most people use Seidio products for extended batteries but they haven't made any yet for the new Bold.

    As far as I'm aware there are no extended batteries for the bold yet. When they do come out there will more then likely be 2 kinds, bigger mah that will be usable with current battery cover and the other is the big bulky batteries.

    Another thing is that you need to remember the nfc antenna. Putting those in the battery doors will push the price up a lot unless they make the doors without the antenna.

    Have already seen some aftermarket battery doors for 12-15 bucks, no NFC though.
